Sub-contract of Korean Die Bench Workers
~for lack of skilled workers in domestic premises
The Kataya.com Inc. will start to sub-contract skilled bench workers from Korea and send them to automotive stamping die makers in earnest as their main business. Their aim is to support die maker’s production while Japanese bench workers become absent for a long-term because of tryout at their customer’s overseas plant.
They have assumed the necessity of man power in domestic market due to increase of Japanese participation in foreign market. They already have experiences in this, sending Korean workers to one of the major die makers in Japan. Their annual sales goal for this area is one-hundred million yen.
Definite knowledge and skilled technique levels are required for die making process unlike simple line works.
Kataya.com contracted with seven individual business owners who all had excellent skills and experiences in die making, i.e. design, CAD/CAM, machine operation and bench work at tryout (inspection and modification).
They employ a Korean stuff to avoid misunderstandings in communication with Korean workers.
The Kataya.com Inc. is a specialty firm dealing stamping dies for automotive. Sub-contract in this area --stamping die bench workers -- is quite unique in domestic market, they say. The third terms of annual sales in 2005 are planned as sixty-five
million yen. They will expand this area as a mainstream business.
Automotive stamping dies, as they are ordered instability, had been producedcompletely at manufacturing process (at vender’s plant). However, it is now becoming common that the die makers send bench workers to overseas for die completion (modification and adjustment) during home line tryout due to severe requirement of cost and timing. This is why domestic die makers have tendency to being lack of bench workers in their own plants for a long-term

국내 제조 현장 사람수 부족에 대응 더 가타야 닷 컴은 자동차용 금형 메이커를 대상으로 한국인 금형 기술자의 파견 사업을 본격화한다.금형 메이커가 해외고객의금형조절로
인해 출장을 가 국내 기술자가 장기 부재가 된 사이 국내 제조 현장의 사람수 부족을 보충하는 것이 목적.
자동차부품 메이커등의 해외 진출히 증가 되고 있는 것으로부터 시장 수요가 있다고 판단했다.
국내의 대형 금형메이커에 파견 했던 실적을 바탕으로 본격전개한다.초년도 1억엔의매출액을 목표로 한다.
금형 제작은 단순작업과는 달리 일정의 지식이나 기술 레벨이 필요하다.이 때문에사업화가 직면해 한국에서 금형제작을 다루는 개인 사업주 7명과 계약했다.설계라든지 캐드・캠,기계 오페레이터,트라이 아웃（검사 ・수정） 등의 마무리 공정까지대응 한다.
또 인재를 통괄하기 위해서 한국인 직원도 채용해 언어의 장벽을 해소할 수 있는체제를 갖춘다.
자동차용 판금 프레스 금형의 전문 상사. 금형 제작 기술에 특화한 기술자의 파견은 국내에도 드문 일이라고 한다.05년 6월기는 매출고 6500만엔 정도의 전망이지만,인재 사업을 새로운 사업의 줄기로 사업확대를 노린다. 수주의 굴곡이 심한 자동차용 금형은 종래 기술자에 따른 이루어져 제조단계로 고밀도,고기능을 실현하고있다.그러나 최근에는 가격 절감이라든지 단납기가 요구되어져 출하후에는 거래처에의 조절 작업을 허가하는 납품이 눈에 띈다고 한다.이때문에 해외에의 조절작업에의 기술자가 장기간부재가 되어 국내의 제조현장의 금형기술자가 부족한 실정에있다.
